As some of you may already know, Creativity International’s photographic arm, “Creativity Backgrounds” is a corporate patron of the Royal Photographic Society.   We were delighted to be invited to attend the annual awards again this year at the Royal Society, Carlton House in London.

Among those awarded were the influential photographer Professor Brian Griffin who was given the prestigious Centenary Medal, renowned animal photographer Tim Flach, documentary photographer Giles Duley, Weston Naef who was the founding curator of Getty images and the Lumiere award for major achievement in British cinematography went to John de Bohrman who has made 35 films to date, including the Full Monty and experimental pop videos for many including Prince and Peter Gabriel.

Was a wonderful chance to spend time talking to not only the award winners, including the wonderful Peter Fraser, whose boundary pushing work in colour was recognised with an honorary fellowship. Tate…
